Biochar Plant

Carbek is building a pilot plant in 2023 to perfect biochar creation, then it will build an industrial scale plant to mass manufacture.

Biochar plant typically includes several key components, such as:

• A pyrolysis reactor - the vessel in which the organic matter is heated.

• A gas-cleaning system, which removes impurities and pollutants from the gases produced during pyrolysis.

• A cooling system, which cools the biochar after it exits the reactor.

• A storage and handling system, which stores and transports the biochar.

The biochar produced by a biochar plant can be used as a soil amendment to improve soil fertility, crop productivity, and carbon sequestration. It also can be used as a fuel, in water and air purification, among other uses.

Biochar plants can be large or small-scale and can be used to produce biochar for a variety of applications.
